Premier Energies, India’s largest integrated solar manufacturer, has secured new orders totalling INR 40.01 billion (US$419 million) in the second quarter of fiscal year 2027 (July–September 2026), covering solar cell and module supply as well as EPC project delivery.

The order inflow comprises 2,308MW of solar cell and module supplies plus EPC execution contracts, excluding retail market orders. Customers include power producers, module manufacturers and EPC firms.

Chiranjeev Saluja, Managing Director of Premier Energies, commented: “Our growing order book strongly validates our growth strategy and execution capability. The Indian solar market demands scale, bankability and cutting-edge technology. As India’s largest integrated solar manufacturer, we stand ready to serve diverse customer requirements across market segments.”

The robust order intake comes amid the company’s three-year INR 125 billion manufacturing expansion plan. Its solar module capacity has nearly doubled to 11.1GW, while solar cell capacity rose from 3.6GW to 10.6GW after the recent commissioning of a 7GW TOPCon cell plant.

Premier Energies continues its backward integration drive. The firm is building a 10GW ingot-wafer facility in Andhra Pradesh, scheduled to start production in Q1 2028, alongside a 12GWh battery container manufacturing line to diversify its product portfolio.

The company has rolled out advanced 0BB TOPCon solar cells, breaking away from conventional 10BB and 16BB cell designs. Its Telangana module factory can produce G12R zero-busbar TOPCon modules every 16 seconds. Earlier capacity milestones include a 1.2GW TOPCon cell line commissioned in June 2025 with cell efficiency above 25%. Premier also completed two acquisitions in October 2025 to expand its renewable portfolio.
